Phase 1 : Facility & Warehouse setup
Design & Construction
This milestone marks the transition from planning to reality, as the detailed design phase concludes and construction begins. With architectural and engineering plans finalised, the project moves into delivery, bringing together contractors, resources, and expertise to transform the vision for the new facility into a physical asset.
The completion of the mezzanine and office fit-out at Unit 16 represents a major achievement within the expansion programme. As construction activities conclude, the facility is handed over to internal teams to begin operational preparations. This moment marks the shift from building the infrastructure to preparing it for business operations, creating the foundation for future manufacturing growth, automation, and enhanced customer service capabilities across the UK and Europe.
Operation Start
With construction complete, Mega Fortris UK enters the next phase of its growth journey as operations begin at the new Burntwood facility. Core business teams, including Sales, Management, Administration, Marketing, and Human Resources, will transition into the new headquarters, bringing together key functions under one roof and strengthening collaboration across the business.
At the same time, the smart warehouse will move into full operation, supported by the onboarding of warehouse and logistics personnel. The introduction of automated laser marking technology, alongside the relocation of cable and laser production capabilities, represents the first stage of a broader expansion programme. Already serving customers across the UK and Europe, the facility is delivering measurable business value while laying the foundations for future growth and increased manufacturing capacity.
Phase 2 : Manufacturing Stage

This phase transitions to execution, with cable processing and seal production lines installed, site services prepared, and new team onboarding, marking the shift toward output and integrated manufacturing capability.
This phase marks the transition from planning to physical execution of our manufacturing infrastructure. Our automated cable production lines, designed in collaboration with selected vendors, begin installation and commissioning, bringing our end to end cable processing in house. At the same time, the first of our flagship seal production lines are being delivered and positioned, with site services and supporting utilities prepared in parallel. This milestone also signals the start of onboarding and preparation for our new production team, as we lay the foundations for a fully integrated and highly automated manufacturing environment. Momentum is now shifting toward output and capability build-up.
Operation Start - Manufacturing Stage 1
Live manufacturing begins, scaling cable and seal output. With full visibility on performance, early improvements are underway as the facility produces at commercial scale and fulfils customer orders.
This milestone marks the start of live manufacturing operations at the facility. With installation and commissioning completed, the focus now shifts to scaling up output across our cable and our initial flagship seal production lines. The site is actively manufacturing key product ranges, with full visibility on output, quality, and line efficiency. Operational performance is closely monitored using OEE metrics, and early continuous improvement initiatives are introduced to drive consistency, reduce downtime, and fine tune processes. While not yet at peak throughput, the facility is producing at commercial scale, fulfilling live customer orders and establishing a culture of operational excellence from day one.
Phase 3 – Manufacturing Stage 2

This phase completes the flagship seal line installation, finalising the UK site’s full manufacturing footprint. By February 2027, core capabilities will enable a seamless shift to full-scale operations.
The final phase of major equipment installation runs in parallel with the closing stages of Phase 2 operations. This milestone captures the procurement, design finalisation, and installation of our remaining flagship seal production lines. These final production lines complete the full manufacturing footprint planned for the UK facility, allowing for a complete product range, greater flexibility, and enhanced automation. By February 2027, all core production capabilities will be in place, positioning the site to shift seamlessly into full-scale operations and complete the transition from build to operations.
Operation Start – Manufacturing Stage 2
With all flagship lines live, this milestone marks full-scale operations. Focus shifts to ramping up volume, optimising workflows, and achieving high-efficiency output, completing MFUK’s transformation into a regional manufacturing hub.
With the last flagship lines installed and commissioned, this milestone marks the transition to scaled up operations across the full production range. All major manufacturing lines, cable, integrated injection automation, integrated laser manufacturing, smart warehousing, and specialty SKUs, are now live and delivering output. Operational focus shifts to volume ramp up, line coordination, and fine tuning of workflows to maximise throughput, quality, and efficiency. The facility is now operating at full design spec, supported by automation, data led performance management, and a team trained to continuously improve. This final milestone represents the full realisation of the MFUK build, transforming the site into a high capacity, high performance manufacturing and distribution hub for the region.
