The Generic STEB A4 is a tamper-evident security bag designed for the secure transport of duty-free liquids, restricted items, and sensitive goods in regulated environments. It helps protect contents and clearly shows any attempt at tampering during handling, storage, or transit.
The Tamper-Evident Bags (TE Bags) are constructed from high-impact recyclable plastic materials. This gives the bag strong durability and allows it to withstand rough handling. At the same time, the material produces clear visual signs if anyone interferes with the seal, helping users detect tampering quickly.
The bags include self-adhesive sealing strips with printed edge instructions. Users follow these markings to seal the bag correctly and reduce the risk of improper closure or deliberate damage. Once sealed, the bag shows visible evidence if someone tries to open it.
Each bag features irreversible identifiers printed directly on the surface. These include a name, logo, barcode, serial number, and QR code. A matching receipt supports identification and tracking, improving traceability across security and retail operations.
A matte white panel allows users to add handwritten information. They can use standard ballpoint pens or permanent markers for labelling. This provides flexibility for recording passenger or product details when needed.
The A4 size measures 335mm x 250mm plus a 30mm top seal, with a thickness of 60µ. This format suits medium-sized duty-free purchases and packaged goods that require secure transport in a compact but spacious format.
An innovative breathable TE Bag option supports specialised applications, including biological sample storage and collection. This helps reduce conditions that encourage microorganism growth in controlled environments.
Security features also include resistance to heat, cold, saliva, and solvents. An optional invisible UV ink feature adds extra anti-counterfeit protection.
